Prog Austin is a celebration of live progressive music being created in Austin Texas. This includes Prog-Rock in all its myriad flavors, many forms of Fusion or Nu Jazz, and also experimental and improvisational music that otherwise defies genre. Along with the facebook group by the same name, we intend to foster an atmosphere where one can easily find and participate in events around town that are off the beaten path.
